Forensic Silicone Casting Material EVIDENT has developed the complete line of ReproCAST Forensic Silicone for the recovery of a variety of forensic evidence, including tool marks and latent fingerprints, and postmortem friction ridge detail, such as mummified or partially decomposed human skin tissue. ReproCAST is a high quality flexible silicone material which produces extremely detailed forensic casts. ReproCAST 50 ml Cartridges and Extruder Guns are provided separately and will easily fit into your existing field kit cases or laboratory configuration. The ReproCAST Extruder Gun evenly extrudes two components through the mixing tip to produce a highly flexible cast. Each 50 ml cartridge includes four mixing tips and four wooden spatulas. Extruder Gun and Mixing Tips are provided separately below.

- White ReproCAST is ideal for lifting latent fingerprints from textured surfaces such as dashboards or computer components. For use with black or dual contrast fingerprint powders. - Gray ReproCAST is ideal for reproducing tool marks or postmortem fingerprint ridge detail. The neutral gray color is perfect for photography. - Black ReproCAST is ideal for lifting latent fingerprints from textured surfaces. For use with white, gray, or fluorescent fingerprint powders. - Brown ReproCAST is ideal for reproducing tool marks or postmortem fingerprint ridge detail. The neutral brown color is perfect for photography. - Clear ReproCAST may be applied in a thin layer with the included spatulas to textured surfaces.

ReproCAST Extruder Gun Mixing Tips

Extruder Gun & Mixing Tips The ReproCAST Extruder Gun is specifically sized for the 50 ml ReproCAST silicone cartridges The extruder gun provides a consistent flow of the two part ReproCAST Silicone. A mixing tip is attached to the end of the ReproCAST cartridge prior to each use. After each use, the mixing tip must be replaced. A wooden spatula may also be used when necessary to spread the silicone in a thin layer. Provided as a package of 40 mixing tips or 40 wooden spatulas.

Mikrosil Silicone Casting Material

Mikrosil™ Forensic Silicone Casting Material To reproduce the most subtle tool marks and impressions, forensic experts rely on Mikrosil Silicone Casting Material. Proven in laboratory tests to be superior to other known flexible silicone casting techniques. By dramatically increasing the visibility of tool marks, firing pin impressions, and latent fingerprint lifts. Mikrosil increases the probability of positive identifications. Used extensively in the field and the laboratory, with remarkable results. Each set includes Mikrosil Silicone, hardener, mixing cards, instructions, and wooden mixing sticks. Available in brown, black, white, and gray. Not for use on living human skin. - Brown Mikrosil is the ideal choice to reproduce tool marks. - Black Mikrosil may be used to lift latent prints developed with gray, white or fluorescent powders on uneven or textured surfaces. The contrast between the lighter colored powders and the black background makes the latent prints easy to see and easy to photograph. - White Mikrosil is very useful for lifting latent prints developed with black powder on uneven or textured surfaces, or recovering friction ridge detail from deceased individuals. - Gray Mikrosil may be used to recover latent fingerprints, tool marks, or postmortem ridge detail. The neutral tone of the gray silicone material facilitates photographic efforts.

Dental Stone The mixing of dental stone is best accomplished in a large plastic zipper bag, adding 6 ounces of water to every pound of casting material. Simply add measured amount of water to the dry Cast-PRO Dental Stone, squeeze the bag to mix components, and pour into the impression form. Allow 25 to 30 minutes to set. Individual casting material bags are provided in 2 lb., 3 lb., and 4 lb. sizes. Available in Buff or Blue color.

Footwear & Tire Track Casting Frames When using these affordable plastic frames around impressions, the majority of the dental stone casting material is contained where it is most needed. May be permanently left on the cast or carefully removed for reuse or disposal. Footwear Frames measure 7” x 14”, and Tire Track Frames measure 11” x 15”. Provided in packages of five casting frames.

Adjustable Tire Track Casting Frame The design of the Adjustable Tire Track Footwear Casting Frame allows for placement around tire impressions of various sizes, providing as much comparable detail as possible. EVIDENT recommends using a minimum of 6 lb. of dental stone when reproducing average sized vehicle tire track impressions. Constructed of aluminum. Compact Dental Stone Casting Kit This Cast-PRO Compact Dental Stone Casting Kit contains the necessary components to cast an individual footwear impression. Simply open the box, place the folding casting frame around the impression, add the water to the 2¾ lb. of dental stone and thoroughly mix before pouring. MikroTrack™ Reusable Test Impression Material From Kjell Carlsson and Jens Carlsson of Carlsson Innovation, the creators of Mikrosil, comes the first reusable footwear and tire track test impression material MikroTrack, which creates a perfect three-dimensional impression with accurate recording of all detail from the impression evidence. The MikroTrack Impression Material may be stored and reused multiple times. Press a layer of MikroTrack onto a tray or piece of cardboard, then impress the shoe or tire into the material. Once the impression is photographed or cast with Cast-PRO Dental Stone, simply gather together the material and it’s ready to use again. Provided as a 3 liter container.

Bio-Foam® Test Impression Foam Bio-Foam Test Impression Foam is a closed-cell, low-density impression foam that produces a detailed reproduction of a shoe or other surface. The impression foam accurately records wear patterns and surface defects making it ideal for three-dimensional evidence test impressions. Bio-Foam Test Impression Foam is available in a single slab, single slab case, or double slab packaging.

Snow Print Powder Snow Print Powder may be gently brushed directly onto icy or frozen snow print impressions using a fiberglass fingerprint brush. The contrast between the red powder and frozen snow will improve your photographic efforts. Do not use on fragile soft, fresh snow impressions.

Snow Print Wax Snow Print Wax is specifically for footwear or tire tracks on fragile snow covered surfaces. It is recommended that prior to casting with Cast-PRO Dental Stone in snow, this aerosol wax may be applied in multiple coats over the snow impression.

Dust & Dirt Hardener Dust & Dirt Hardener is for the recovery of footwear impressions or tire tracks in dirt, sand, and dust. It is recommended that prior to casting with Cast-PRO Dental Stone in soil surfaces, that this aerosol be gently sprayed over the impression to strengthen fragile soil details.

BVDA Gellifters

BVDA Gellifters™ BVDA Gellifters are designed for the lifting of fingerprints, footprints, dust marks and trace evidences. The thick gelatin layer permits the lifting of trace amounts of evidence from almost any surface. Gellifters are ideal for lifting evidence while not sticking to the surrounding lift area. The cover sheet is a clear film which is removed prior to lifting, and replaced once the lift is completed. BVDA Gellifters are available in Black, White, and Clear.

Lifting Film & Cast Storage Boxes An ideal size container for preserving delicate dust impressions on foil lifts. Film corners should be secured to inside bottom of box with tape. Also perfect for storage and shipment of dental stone casts. Constructed from durable white cardboard. Size is 18” x 12” x 2”. Provided in packages of ten boxes.
